We went straight to the beach on Friday morning, the warmth of the sun on our pale skin felt heavenly!
Nah, I wont need any sunscreen...
Posing in front of the Hawaiian Village @ Hilton.
Hang Loose!
Later that day, we went for a boat cruise.
Kristin in front of the catamaran.
We sat on the net between the two pontoons and enjoyed some strong drinks.
Life is good on Hawaii I tell you!
Waikiki beach seen from the boat.
Another one.
Yes, you guessed it.
Now, the only way to get rid of the drinks again, was to use a port-a-potti in one of the pontoons.
Kristin and Angelina cruisin'.
We wobbled in to a random bar for "Hotdog and frenchfries".
Yes, there was a lot of alcohol in those drinks. (I don't even remember this picture.)
The moose is hanging loose!
Waikiki beach has a lot of malls and hotels, pure tourist area.
Relaxing a bit in the shade.
After dropping off our stuff, we went back out.
We met up with Angelina and Cassidy we had met on the boat.
Cassidy hooked me up with a sarong, we later found out its called a "Lava lava" when guys wear them.
A monkey and a ukulele! Man I love Hawaii!
Even the fire fighters had surfboards.
This nice girl showed us how to tie the lava lava's the correct way.
You cannot have a bar without a Magnum P.I V.I.P booth.
Saturday morning, feeling a little used and abused from the day before.
Trying to look as fresh as possible!
We went to a Luau, a party, later Saturday.
People were seated on long tables, and there was a stage with entertainment.
I wasn't in a big hurry to start drinking again - I got better a little later though.
One of the dishes served was a pork - cooked in the ground.
The beautiful sunset.
Sunset and Kristin.
Sunset and Søren
Sunset and Kristin.
Sunset and both of us!
Sunset without us. One of the people working at the Luau asked us if we didn't have sun where we were from.
Lets get this party started!
They had a lot of dancers from different Polynesian islands: Tahiti, Hawaii and Samoa.
The guys looked a little constipated here.
Mosquito dance!
Fire dance.
This guy was awesome, its impossible to capture on film but he was really good at this.
More fire-dance.
Hula-dancers shaking what their mama gave them.
All the costumes were really colorful, and the dancing was very pretty.
Coconut bras!
The view from our hotel.
Last day at Hawaii, eating breakfast on the beach.
We did not feel like leaving this place...
...it's not hard to see why.
I did end up getting sunburned, I guess I should have used more sunscreen.
